Some quotes sort of sum him up from the Pompey forum....

Quote
Awford has repeatedly said that Storey lost his head for a while and needed looking after - that could be for numerous reasons, not just football ones. He's still a kid himself and hasn't played that much prior to coming here. Clearly he has potential but whether that gets translated is likely to be based on what goes on between the ears.

Quote
What I really want to know is why do we persist with Storey, he is awful. He does nothing with the ball.

Quote
I've been crying out for Awfs to give Storey a proper chance up front, and look what happens when he does! He was outstanding last night considering how little he has played and ran his heart out from start to finish.

Quote
Storey flattered to deceive and we felt not as effective as he could have been if he had taken on the Full Back on the outside.

Yeah I have been reading the Pompey forums too to see if they agree with my mate and a few recon hes their best player attacking wise but most see him as a winger not a striker.

He has such pace and control but frustrates a lot, I fear he will always be a lower league speed merchant who flits between clubs and always divides opinion.
Yeah I suspect you maybe right. That's my fear too.

Couple of my mates are Pompey S/T holders and have said, like most on this thread already, that he divides opinions. Luckily enough for him, he seems to have more for him than against, which is nice to hear. They've said that he get's most of his game time on the wing. I wish him well. Safe to say, he'll not return to Swindon..

Is he out of contract at the end of this season?

Not sure he fits our style of play really and will probably be playing for Salisbury in a couple of years.

Theyve tried that already and he couldnt get in their team iirc

He'll end up on the scrap heap and be Twitter fodder for the Tanswell's.
