With all due respect to your boat Reg which I'm sure was very nice, but I'm guessing it was perhaps a slightly less grand affair than Cellino's. In fact I'd venture so far as to suggest your boat as a whole wasn't worth a fraction of the £300k tax due on Cellino's luxury yacht. Even if you threw in the oars Smiley

My boat cost me £12 ....decent money before Harold Wilson devalued the pound. I was thinking mooring fee avoidance  Smiley

Wasn't the Kon-Tiki made of balsa wood and skippered by a fella called Thor?  Imagine being stuck in the middle of the Pacific with him...suppose you could have chopped up bits of the boat and made model spitfires though.
