Somebody at work showed me an email from their kids school regarding another trust initiative for both Doncaster and Port Vale.

Primary school kids go free with a paying adult(£19) or OAP(£16), with a max of 2 adults and 3 kids per group.

Sounds good to me.

In the bank or another area of the ground?

Talking of incentives Honda have now linked up with the club and all employees can get tickets for £10 for any game until the end of season, kids tickets are £3.

Not being funny, linking up with Honda is great, but £10 a ticket for any game takes the piss slightly given the matchday prices for everyone else.

Just putting it out there like

That all depends who is paying 'the difference, Honda (directly or indirectly through sponsorship ) or the club.

I actually agree that if the club are discounting Honda employees in the hope of sponsorship in the future then while I can see why they'd do it, it is taking the piss out of every other fan.

But we don't know that's the case.

If it's for any game rather than every game, I'm fine with it.

I wouldn't have a problem with it being offered as a company benefit.  It's no different to companies that provide discount schemes for high street stores.  If you like the benefits, you can always apply to work at the company.  My guess would be that they probably chuck a few quid in to get the discount for their employees as well.
