I'm not going but have given my ST to someone. The last time this happened was when we beat Sheff United 5-2 or whatever it was. I'm enticing the one offs back with good games!

10,200

6,500 regular paying home fans
3,500 Trust family freeloaders (said in jest)
200 Fleetwood.

id be gutted if we were looking at an attendance of 6700 without this promotion.

I think it's inevitable that some of those that would have paid as walkups, will end up sourcing tickets through the scheme, maybe 300 at least?

This is why I'm so surprised the Trust have been able to convince the club to go ahead with it. That's a deficit of about £7,000 or so. I know the Trust have agreed to sponsor to make some of this back for the club, plus they might make some extra programme sales, etc. but there is still a loss there. Credit also has to go to Power for seeing the long term gain over the short term loss. Previous owners would just see the immediate pound note in front of them at our long term detriment.

There couldn't be a better time for this initiative to be honest. I would imagine alot of fickle school kids around who support Man Utd ,  Liverpool , Arsenal  who are not having the success of previous years would be more inclined to start supporting their local team especially if we can go top.

As others have said  now watch them play shit and lose .

Hopefully we'll get five figures. I can't see why not.

10,900

6,700 every-gamers
350 occasional-gamers (because of our recent games & it's the end of the month Payday)
350 Fleetwood (it's a new ground for them)
3,500 freebies

Another thing to consider is although 3,500 have been given to the schools, they might not all get given out and they might not all turn up.

IIRC the tickets were by personal application i.e. the kids had to fill out a form to apply for them individually, rather than schools asking for them en bloc. So while they might well not turn up (although I think most will), pretty sure they'll all be given out

Chalky white is right. Will add another thousand onto the gate, but I'd be suprised if we broke 5 figures

That's reassuring. I'm genuinely excited at seeing the ground this full of Swindon fans Saturday.

Me too. And I might be wrong, but I seem to remember reading that was how they were going to be given out. Hope it's mild and dry (and we win 14-0)

Fleetwood, may well not make over a 100, they've mysteriously had 3 away followings of 101, this season.  Novelty wearing off, fair old distance, high price and time of year, may deter a few.

I wonder though if the 101, are the same people for each game, in other words their real die hards.

Ah, I see what you did there... research. I went on faith that travelling to quite an old stadium that's, to be fair, bigger than most league one grounds and a 'bigger' club for this level would entice a few extra heads. But as you say... it's a fair old hike.

High 9,000s or very low 10,000s then.

Some serious aspirations to take more than 101 there.
