I dont think that game was meant to be televised live. They only showed it as the one they were supposed to be showing was called off

Yeah. They went back to Richard Keys in the studio (he's a Coventry fan) and started analysing their win. The picture came back and Andy Mutch was celebrating.
I think Keys was raging!
The game was shown instead of another game which was postponed, and due to the fact it was due to be played at the same time showed that game instead. They lost pictures a few minutes from the end and we scored in injury time !!

Think they were meant to show Leeds, but it was called off, so a hurried switch to Highfield Road. I was surprised it was played as there was plenty of flood water kicking around the Midlands Avon and it had pissed down most of the day.
I always thought Highfield Road was a decent ground....a good fit for a club of Coventry's size.

Here's the footage, first the short version:
And if you've got too much time on your hands, here's the full game:

1-1 with Andy Mutch equalising in injury time?
I was there. I think they were supposed to show the Leeds game but it got called off. Edit Sorry just seen Reg's post. Didn't they miss our goal? Double edit, must read all posts before commenting!

That was one of my favourite games that season. Turnout from our fans was immense. Incredible atmosphere. Goal celebration was one to remember.

I'd take a 1-1 draw, with us equalising late tomorrow.
