Clap Loving your work. I may well use that at some point. Cool
Feel free, not mine, but can't remember where I pinched it from right now

Used to see Cowe out at weekends a bit.  One night in the Brunel Rooms he was rolling a pint glass up and down the back of his leg with his other foot, showing off his skills (or lack of).  How some twat didn't smash  it on him was more luck than judgement.

Good read that.

I was at Chesterfield and will never forget that Charlton victory....only went as my then wife's gran pegged it and she was clearing the house nearby as I went to the valley.  our goal mouth was a coconut shy for 80 odd minutes!

Nothing to do with Cowe, but Sam's take on last night.....could you make it 6 things you've learned?  Iraq, wasn't Persia, that was Iran....Mesopotamian Pirlo maybe.

In fact, Iran and Iraq fought a very unpleasant 8 year war, making it the 20th Century's longest conventional conflict.

Agree though about fans being a bit more tolerant...this is so important to any chance of success this season.

In the 10 years from 85/86 to 95/96, there were only 2 seasons 87/88, 91/92 where we weren't either in PO's, promoted or relegated....this included 2 championships.

The 11 years leading to this season from 03/04 haven't exactly been lacking in drama, only 4 seasons 04/05, 07/08, 08/09, 13/14 where we weren't either in PO's relegated or promoted....this includes 1 championship.  Certainly never dull for long being a Town fan  Smiley
I believe this is our longest spell outside the top 2 divisions (15 years) since we got promoted in 1962/3. Someone watching Town as a 15 year old in our last season in the 2nd tier would now be in there 30s. Hopefully that situation might get resolved shortly.
