ha ha, quality! Nah he was ina rich list a few years back at 25 mil and I thought he confirmed his wealth at a shareholders meeting a few years back, although I may be wrong. Carson is not the sort of man to announce his personal wealth, save to say that whether he had 3 or 30 mill, STFC wouldn't see any of it. He was at the match last night which was unusual. At the moment the club is on life support....the powers that be do as much as they have to and no more......the decision on CG redevelopment, which should become clearer through the autumn, will probably decide if they turn it off. |

All Carson ever says is that there are no really wealthy people on the Board, they just do it out of a sense of social resposibility...ie keep the old dear alive, for local people to enjoy.

I think Carson goes to more games than people realise, even if not all of them.
I've seen him around quite a few times, home and away over the past 2 or 3 years.
But I agree that our club is a joke. If you are running out of stock, get more in. Surely that's how it should work?! Especially if you are losing money by NOT doing this!!!

Carson is a joke, he does turn up (if theres no racing on bbc that day! nice to where his priorities lie!) but the amount of money he puts into this club can't be much! must be that he has short arms and can't reach into his pockets! :evil:
only good thing about this club at the mo, is the legend that is sir seton willis. we wouldn't even have a club now if it wasn't for him! he should have a stand named after him or something like that, the guy is a legend!

The club shop is a total joke, the rems behind the counter when i got my shirt printed are thick as shit!
I asked if i could have 11 Cureton printed and the woman said, sorry we dont have and L's left?! I was like oh right....since when is Cureton spelt with an L? She said its not but i was thinking of ELEVEN - because you would need an L for that...to which i looked at my brother in dismay and gritted my teeth and said can i have NUMBER 11 and the name CURETON!!! :-))(
