Interesting; one good season in the SPL, otherwise he's been at Kidderminster.

My Hibees supporting mate said he's fairly decent, but the standard of the SPL is crap. Rumoured to be 750K which takes their spending well over a million. Their fans are an excitable bunch atm that's for sure.

Anything less than top 6 is a failure for them. I think they're still a good shout despite their poor start.

On paper their signings look good, unfortunately football is played on the pitch not on paper.

I remember when we signed Thorpe, Cureton, Whalley and Peacock in 2005 all with top division experience and look how that season ended.

He was quality a couple of years ago. Always wondered why he didn't kick on. Wouldn't be unhappy if he rocked up at the CG.

Is he the same guy that was basically sucking Lingy's cock when he was here?

McAnthony said he tried to sign him twice but never goes back a third time.

So yeah he'll end up at Posh.

My local team Hungerford Town are going for it after back to back promotions to Conference South they have signed ex England full back Nicky Shorey at 35 he should be a good signing for them. God knows what would happen if they get promoted again as there is no way that ground will be allowed anywhere near the conference national league.

And they've got Alan O'Brien.....

A mate of mine follows Hungerford everywhere, then write a report on Facebook of the matches.

They had quite a few ex-Town players at one point. Not sure who's still there.....Ian Herring, for one, according to their website.
