Berahino going off on one

@SBerahino: Sad how i cant say exactly how the club has treated me but i can officially say i will never play Jeremy Peace.

Let him rot in the reserves.

Transfers are getting insane. I don't watch much of the "Best League in The World®" but £25m for Berahino? And it was apparently turned down?  Head Hurts

Although from an outsider's perspective, that French lad signed by Man U, seems worse. No doubt another over-priced player to add to their recent transfer successes.

Weird its seems like no time since Berahino was coming on as sub for northampton when we beat them 2 - 1 under PDC.  He didnt seem that good then.

That's kind of my thinking. I recall Defoe on loan at Bournemouth and being impressed. Berahino barely registered.

You can add De Bruyne to that list...£50m+ for a player Chelsea dumped just over a year ago.

Saying that paying over £10m for van Dijk is madness considering he's been playing in a league equivalent of League One and there is no competition.

I think it's fair to say Chelsea dropped a bollock there though. His stats last season were immense.

The Man U signing, from any angle, looks ridiculous - even the French agree.

By "somewhere" I guess you mean the bastion of truth, Twitter, because that's completely ridiculous. Smiley He made Agombar look like Zidane.

Maybe we could make a move for Pericard to plug that hole up front.

Rather shocked that Austin didn't get a move anywhere, £15m seems cheap for a proven PL striker.

Has to be that or wage demands.

Not really any other logical reasons why he is still there

I think that medical plus his shoulder problem has scared everyone off. Shame considering he played virtually all last season. Though he did turn down an approach from Palace on personal terms. If he stays fit till Jan and keeps banging them in, then his chance may yet come.

Wouldn't think his wages would be an excuse considering the money the clubs will be getting from next season.

Considering Spurs have paid £22m for a Korean striker from Germany, with no experience of playing in England. They could've paid £15m for Charlie, and had a pile left over to cover his salary for a number of years.
