Kane and Austin couldn't play together.

Don't see why they couldn't?!

They are selling Kane arent they? I thought i read Man U were in for him?

But van gaal said rooney was going to play the lone striker this season..

Kane and Austin are too similar. And Kane is a better player.

To be fair they are nothing alike Sippo. Kane likes to pick the ball up deep and out wide

But both are out and out strikers. I just can't see them working together. I maybe wrong, I often am!

Just been reported that the slave traders are offering £6m (rising to £8m) to Crystal Palace for Dwight Gale.  Good player, but bonkers all the same..

Lansdown was always going to throw some money at individuals, looks like they've sized the market and (reluctantly) decided to join in.

Imagine if Town went up? We'd have the five best young loanees the Premier League could offer. Smiley

Seems a strange move for Gayle, wasn't he regularly in the first team last season, cannot see him wanting to drop down to the Championship?

Lee Novak to Chesterfield. Would have been a belting replacement for Smith.

Gayle's turned Shitty down. Apparently he wants to either join a Prem club or a Championship club that's going to be fighting for promotion...

Bristol City going public with the Dwight Gayle bid was your a blatant move to keep the flock happy.

Not something many clubs do.

Talking of Bristol City.  By god Steve Cotterill had some front trying to defend the Freeman tackle and claim it was a yellow.

He looked and sounded like a pick-pocket claiming he was trouser valeting.

I doubt the lad was aiming for the head but Jesus it sounded like a desperate man.  Strangely enough some of the Bristol local press are also playing it down.
