What's your best/favourite goal by a town player?
Mine is Bensons 'goal' against Wigan in the FA Cup 3rd round

Best I've seen live would be Billy Paynter at the 3-0 Leeds game at Elland Road, think it was the third goal and it was a scorcher: pretty much got him a contract with them which was a shame.

Favourite would be trickier...does Stephen Darby slotting home his penalty against Charlton in the playoffs count?

Toss up between Alex Pritchard away at Bradford last season or Alan McCormacks injury time winner at Northampton

Big Dunc's hot shot at WBA in the League Cup, August 1991. Scorcher.

A penalty.....

Won by Chalkie and Scored by Bodin (I think) away at West Ham. They fucking battered us but Nicky Hammond played a blinder.

A penalty is never a 'great' goal, but that one will remain with me forever.

Did it actually happen?

Maskell's deflected free-kick perhaps?

It was a free kick on the edge of the area, won by Martin Ling and scored by Craig Maskell. Other than that, your recollection is bang on, Hammond did indeed play a blinder and they did indeed batter us...

Not quite, pretty late though. Flasheart will tell you exactly when it was - he remembers it like it was yesterday  Cheesy

I reckon Charlie Henry's goal at the CG against Gillingham which set up the game at Selhurst Park.

Also Kenny Stroud in the FA Cup against Everton
