Turnbull deal close

SWINDON Town are hoping to have Jordan Turnbull amongst their ranks for the weekend friendly clash with Aston Villa, even if the paperwork for a loan deal is not quite complete.

How long does it take to sign papers these days.
It only takes a couple of hours for other clubs.

Can't quite get my heed around these supposed loan signings - OK, I can understand why Stephens isn't straightforward - but Brad Smith?

'Morning Brendan, Coops here. Any chance we can have Smith off you on loan?'

Replies either

'Fuck off, Coops, no way'

Or

'Sure, we don't need him this season and he is keen for regular football'

Why the delay

Coops, "How much is he on?"  Brendan, "10 grand a week"

Yes we need Stephens. Yes we probably need Smith B. But would like to know what the score is with these 2 mystery forwards we've apparently got our eyes on as I am far from convinced we have got anything like enough support for Smith M
