Problem is, when one rule says a bird with dual nationality the place of birth wins over.
Not sure if the Iran team were even born in Iran.
Be a shame if that's the case as they are stunning.
Could call the match a draw I suppose and go from there

I did try and make sure they all had at least one Iranian parent at least, reckon they'd all be eligible for the actual Iranian football team!
Would have made it a thankless task if I'd tried to be too strict and I can humbly say I think the tournament has benefited from their inclusion...
