The only world cup that I have attended.....we were so close to getting through but an injured Keegan missed an easy header vs Spain.
Keegans miss is 2 mins 50 seconds in.
Still fairly happy memories like Robson scoring after just 27 seconds of the first game for England vs the frogs, a game I attended over in Bilbao.

And to complete the set...
The set is not complete, without the wonderful Lonnie Donegan singing World Cup Willie. Donegan was Scottish.

You're right, of course, Reg. How could I have forgotten "World Cup Willy"?!
Apparently, this classic from the 1962 tournament was the first World Cup song:
Those crazy Chileans sure knew how to swing their pants back then!

If we are going old school, this little gem from 1990 - much better than their 2014 effort!

If we're going to do BBC theme tunes, then look no further than 78's Argentine melody the only decent thing Andrew Lloyd Webber ever wrote. You don't need England to be at WC to make it memorable....as long as you've got the Sweaties to keep you entertained with overblown views and failed drug tests. Last WC in South America...and a classic. Vamos! Los Albiceleste.
