Couldn't dig out last year's Green Army appreciation thread. One year on, one bloody year on, and they've only gone and done it again, play off's for a place in the Ryman League beckon:

I had to curtail my intake, spewing up blood in Holland Park awoke some sense into me, but the test results are back fine and i'm back in business, albeit like a scolded cat looking upon the pan-thrower of boiling liquid with some apprehension. I have been lurking and enjoying. It's great to be back amongst friends.

I follow their results as well, largely because my Mum is from Guernsey.

In fact, my parents went across for a few days and went to watch their last home game.

Guernsey is a great place, feeling the love for the Channel Islands. Crowds of 1000 plus is tremendous.

Excellent stuff - have to say, haven't seen their results after their franatic and championship winning season last year - but as said Play Offs a remarkable achievement for them.

Unfortunately the financial burden is beggining to tell - bank rolling all away teams' travel and accommodation expenses - and they're looking to renogotiate this agreement with the FA. This could be the biggest fairytale ever.

Thanks HonkyTonk, i've had to tone down after a health scare, i'm more an observer than a contributor now. I've been here all along and I feel I need to diminish myself.

Unfortunately they lost their play-off semi-final tonight 3-2.

They came back from 3-0 down, and in the lat 5 mins hit the bar & had a goal disallowed.
