If done on trust does that mean Jeds lot still own?
If Power has invested £1.2m to Jed's £1 I imagine the principle of equitable estoppel might be invoked fairly thoroughly. (Equitable estoppel being the legal equivalent of invoking common sense)

Unless I'm misreading this, Power's argument seems very flimsy.
Difficult to see what McCrory is trying to achieve here other than making a quick buck. It's already been established that he does not have the financial backing to run a football club at this level. Whether he wins or not, we all know that - one way or another - he won't be involved by Christmas any more.
I do wish that he'd just #### off [I'm at work] and leave the business of running the club to those who have a serious long term interest in it. He's hanging around like a fart in a windowless cabin.

Ok, that sounds more encouraging.

That's what I was thinking. Seems fairly clear there's only one person with any real ability to own a football club.

Wasn't that what Bill Power hoped too ?

I'm still unclear whether power loaned 1.2m temporarily then took it back once the league were satisfied. Or whether he has genuinely invested it into stfc.
It's possible they have both invested nothing. In which case who is posing the bills?!

Was going to post something similar. This whole "is it a loan or did I actually buy some shares" is very similar to the Bill Power situation. Even spookier when Bill and Lee share the same surname. And wasn't that over £1.2 million as well?

What is this discussion on whether there was a 3 year option agreement - is that 3 years for power to run the club and then get the shares in the club signed over to him ?

Don't mind that as long as it is settled once and for all - and hopefully the chancer called McCrory is fucked off altogether.
