I went to the 3-3 in Hartlepool. Two hattricks, 3-0 up, sigh. I got two signed Simon Cox footballs as a result of that.

The 0-3 at Carlisle United resulted in a hat and letter of appreciation.

Either way I was a fraudulent fan as I'd only travelled from Newcastle for both.

Oh dear god, that game at Carlisle was awful. To think I drove a 500 mile round trip to watch that. At least I got a free hat and a handshake from my namesake.

The drive back to Durham was bad enough.

I've got a hat from that game as well, but I'm even more fraudulent than you as my mate who went who lives in Darlo sent it to me.

Well judging by this, "Lowe took down another Lowe long ball" I have a feeling he might not be the most observant of journalists. That or Lowe is damn fast.

Does this journalist not realise that a sentence and a paragraph are two different things?

It's awfully written. I think it's pretty clear Tranmere were the better side and missed a few chances but jesus christ, he's written it as if we were pegged back on our goaline for 90 minutes as Bayern Tranmunich produced a footballing masterclass.

That's 6 points from Tranmere without ever really playing well. Damning for them.

It's typical local journalism, isn't it?

They made a big point of it pre game on the radio, calling it a "Swindon connection"....not exactly but there is a connection to a Swindon connection!

Highlights up. Our defence looked so porous, Tranny'll be depressed to come away with nothing.

I think Miles might have meant that. If not, I don't know who he was aiming at.

I always thought of Craig as more of a Walsall man....my fave other Shakespeare is Robbie.
