Loads of money for players then soapy tit wank

It's a beautiful spiral isnt it.. Fans stop going, hinders our ability to get better players, worse results, more fans lose interest. But then I've always been pretty vocal at the lack of success at STFC coming from the fans. Wonder who the first will be to moan about the lack of investment? Probably someone who didn't renew.

Got mine on deadline day.

I expect I am one of many who won't be renewing unless Cooper is removed from his position.

That's pretty pathetic really. You sound like an Oxford fan.

Good point.

We should be hearing less from Chang going forward then! Smiley

Cunt Grin

I agree. People are starting to moan about guess work now :-\
It's a reasonable concern rather than moaning isn't it? Power has said (quite reasonably) that if season ticket sales fall, that will reduce the playing budget still further which, as Tails has pointed out, can be the start of a spiral. And it may be guesswork but it's hardly a blind stab in the dark to suggest that the majority of people who are going to buy season tickets will do so in the early bird period, rather than when it goes to full price. So if we sell substantially less than last year by the end of the early bird period, unless it's extended, that's likely to lead to a commensurate reduction in the playing budget. That's surely a reasonable concern rather than "moaning" isn't it? (And yes, I have renewed - 2 adults and a junior)

The effect of less tickets this time around should be less drastic than last time. Aren't we operating on a smaller budget than before the last round?

We are 600k over budget.

We need to shift that AND adhere to a new sustainable budget based off projected income. If income drops presumably the playing budget will too to accommodate.

Nobody really know though i suppose.

You could join the TEF "go shopping with the missus tendency".....it's a growing faction. I suppose you'd need a missus though.

I remember my Missus suggesting shopping on a Saturday once, we ended up watching Town play at Blackburn in the afternoon & followed it off by going to watch the speedway team at Odsal in the evening Smiley
