They may be a bit of a joke paper, but the sports coverage is very good for a local rag and it was public knowledge before Sam tweeted what he did.

Ranger himself even posted it pre match, tracksuit on!

Oh well, I expect this will be reversed very quickly. No doubt it will.

Looks like the Subuteo set will be getting an airing for the foreseeable future. Cheesy

I recall years back when Plymuff had a similar falling out between their chairman McCauley, and the local rag. The rag hired a cherry picker so that the hack could see the game and write up his reports...although in this case it seems Sam isn't banned from the ground....yet. Smiley

So why the big secret,if the club had news on the player they should have used there sense and announced it....would have saved it spilling out and also may have put a few extra bums on seats...not many granted but every little helps.

They knew Ranger was going to be playing since Thursday, but wanted to keep it under wraps to prevent Peterborough from being aware. Sam undid this (rightly or wrongly is another argument) by announcing it before teams were announced, thus giving Peterborough time to make changes and prepare for the different threat.

In no way does it justify this action, but I can understand the emotion. I'll imagine all will be back to normal by the end of the month anyway.

Spot on.

Morshead comes across as a bit of a pompous prick, I'm sure rattling his cage won't do him any harm.

Let's hope not. Pathetic, childish and (if you're right) a worrying portent

I can understand the Club's position on this, Peterborough may well have been following Sam on Twitter but not the fan who posted the photo or Rangers instagram, so therefore the only way they would have seen this information before the team sheets would be through Sam tweeting about it. If he'd had just waited until the teamsheets were out then there wouldn't have been a problem.

I noted Ranger's shirt on the stadium tour Saturday and can't understand why anyone would want to post this on twitter etc.
Sure Ranger posted something and this is a matter for the club.
Power's reaction a a little ott however football, tactics and team sheets are private stuff.
Peterborough banned all fans from their changing room.
All part of football with delays to announcing team sheets, trying to view the opponents even at our level.

Let's hope this blows over and normality resumed. I like the coverage the adver provides.

Hmm can see both sides, but feel sure a reminder of obligations regarding sensitive team Information would have sufficed.  Slapped wrist not slapped arse.
