Coventry isn't in Warwickshire. Foleshill Road is incredible for Indian food.

It used to be historically, just like Wolverhampton used to be in Staffordshire.

I hate the way we dick around with counties in this country.  Could you ever imagine the Americans moving Chicago out of Illinois?  No.  Exactly.  It's not right.

Where is it then?

I've never seen us lose a home league game to Coventry, the last time being 53 years ago, and I wasn't there, least don't remember it.  Think that will change today...having seen them on the box a couple of times, we're tailor made for them. Could be by a few too.

Coventry City ‏@Coventry_City 1m
Remember, today's match at Swindon is an all ticket fixture, so tickets will not be available to buy on the gate #pusb #skyblues

well not in there end anyway - can see a few pitching up in home areas as quite a few travelling without tickets if my twitter feed is anything to go by

I would have expected that anyway.  In this rain, would you rather watch the game on the Bank getting soaked, or in the dry in a fairly sedate stand like the Arkells?  I know which I would choose.

Was at the uni there in the 80's when it was the lanchester poly didn't finish as saw more gigs than lectures. Remember the Fosehill road run fondly Pint

If you drive from Kenilworth towards Coventry, you see signs that say "Welcome to Coventry" and vice versa when you drive from Coventry to Kenilworth you see signs that say "Welcome to Warwickshire". That distinction is good enough for me.

But as you live in the past anyway, I'm not surprised by your insistence.

"ceremonial" counties are different to administrative...
