Hi. I've just joined the forum today. I bought my 90 year old dad a season ticket for his birthday. He has loved seeing Swindon Town play at home but he has recently had a fall and is in hospital. He doesn't think he will ever be fit enough again to get to the County Ground. I therefore want to sell his season ticket. It is a great seat near the half way line in the Don Rogers stand. There are 14 home games left and I would like to get £140 for the ticket, that's only £10 a game. Obviously it is a concessionary ticket but I believe it can be upgraded. I understad the club aren't offering second half season tickets this year as they have done in the past, so if you know anyone who is looking to buy a half season ticket then please put them in touch with me. Thank you.

In all seriousness is that right about no half season tickets? That's ridiculous.

I only agree because I was going to buy one. That'll learn me.

I'm pretty sure they haven't done these for a few years now.

There must be plenty of people who wanted to see how the team panned out before purchasing a ST this season.

I would imagine a half season ticket would be a great seller now

Yeah I would have got one too, held off buying one as didnt know how season would pan out or if could get to go to every game.
Only missed Stevenage and all gone swimmingly on the pitch so far.
Think the club will lose out on guaranteed cash by not doing one tho.

Sorry to hear that. Hope he is wrong and gets better soon. But tell him at least the hospital food is better than the County Ground food.

Just realised who he is - sits near us, lovely guy, always used to shuffle up to an adjacent seat so my lad could sit next to his mate. Really sorry to hear he's not been well, like Batch said, hope he gets better soon.
