It is sad to see 'Pools fans going through exactly the same process we did - first the hope, then once some history emerged - the caveated hope. Finally the same realisation once things start going downhill. Problem is, their path will probably be more like Hereford...

It really needs a David Conn etc article to go through what happened here and at Hereford to give a warning to others. Pools keep finding old Adver articles about what a great job Ged/Jed and Steve were doing.
Can't blame them, they just want to hope that things might turn out okay.
In all seriousness has anyone raised this with someone like David Conn, he is on twitter so someone could get in touch?

David Conn is pretty much full time on the Hillsborough enquiry at the moment.

Which has gone a bit Dan Brown in the last few days with Masonic conspiracies and the like.

From today's T'Independent.  Had to smile about the paragraph on the "experience of those behind TMH":

Good thing they've got an easy game tomorrow!   Smiley

What a shambles way to end - Really feel sorry for Hereford fans.

4:43pm

We believe that a lawyer speaking for the council said the local authority had  considerable concerns about the security of Edgar Street and "people entering the ground".

4:42pm

The registrar has made an order for the company to be wound up

4:41pm

When asked where Andrew Lonsdale was, the club's representative could not say

4:41pm

He said Andrew Lonsdale was stuck in traffic and had the evidence to prove the funds were in place

4:40pm

The representative for the club said he understood that a money transfer had been made but he had no evidence to prove that was the case

Looks like the ground reverts back to the council as the club leases it.

Agombar's band of crooks weren't at court because they were running round the ground nicking stuff even as the club was being wound up, according to Hereford fans. Utter, utter scum

They told the court that Lonsdale was stuck in traffic

Surely you would try and get there early for a hearing of that status

Not if you were busy stealing everything you could from the ground, you wouldn't. Allegedly.

My Twitter feed was full of scousers saying Hillsborough was a Masonic conspiracy the other day

Ok then..

What they actually said was there was an agreement between senior cops who were masons to pin blame on individual not the cop in charge, who was also a leading Mason. The allegations were made by a  police man serving in the South Yorkshire force at the time, not by 'scousers'.

Knowing what else was covered up at that time it's frighteningly plausible
