We were told on the coach to Rotherham that match tickets for Colchester away are not being sold from the County Ground. They have to be purchased direct from Colchester, and in advance if you want any discount (5 weeks in advance gets the best discount). This is literally the shittest away day on the fixture list. Shite soulless stadium in the arse end of nowhere, with no pubs or anything for miles, just loads of gippos parked on close by land. After the one time I did this I swore we'd have to be in a must win fixture towards the end of a season for me to ever go there again....at present it's very uninviting as it is with a free ticket let alone one in the ball park of £30.
Are they asking to die? They're so far doing the polar opposite of making the place inviting for fans, especially when most people in Colchester support West Ham anyway.
