Ok so the laptop was fucked and had to be wiped back to factory settings losing everything, so I have the tedious task of loading all my music back from CD's, etc.

I've currently got 3-400 songs on my iPhone that I don't have backed up on CD's; does anyone know of a good free program that will allow me to extract them back on to my PC? Most of the one's I've looked at appear to be free on the face of it then try to charge after 5 songs or something.

Thanks

I subscribe to iTunes match after the same thing happened to me and I think it's a great piece of kit, when it works...

Could you get the hard files back after it happened?

Samdy helped me with a software suggestion when this happened to me a couple of years back.

For some reason Ephpod isn't recognising my device when I connect it. Downloaded Sharepod and it seems to be limited to 50 songs unless you buy a key.

Got a free program now called Bigasoft iPod transfer....after the first 100 transfers I have to do them one by one, but it will do the job :-). Thanks lads.

As I said in the other post....I'm done with Apple products once this contract is done!
