I followed him for a few holes when he played in the BMW Open in Munich in 1999. Had a very brief chat over the ropes to his then caddy, Jason Hemplemann, who I'd played against (lost 3 and 1) at Broome Manor when he was about 14. Jason went on to caddy for Colin Montgomerie I think.
