We tend to help around 4 or 5 people at each obstacle. The obstacles this year are more team based.

Some people don't hang around to help others which defeats the object.

Think the helping out strangers is what makes tough Mudder. Loved reaching out for some struggling bloke or woman, getting them over, good feeling.

Those 2 bellends treating it as a race, they seem to have missed the point completely

T'was the week before, not night before. But don't disagree with the point.

Very tempted to have a crack at it.

In October 14 I signed myself up for London West TM (May this year), then realised I'd probably never run 12 miles before in my life......so trained a bit gradually running from 1.5 to 13 odd miles, so in Jan I thought I'd have a crack at the Reading Half Marathon held in March, did that (very slowly  Smiley ) and managed the Tough Mudder in just over 3.5 hours....!

My point is yes it's commercialised, but if I can do it, I reckon pretty much anyone can. Beware though you do get caught up in the "Hoo Rah" "hell yeah" stuff, but it's very well organised and a great crack and a real sense of achievement no matter how slow or what shape you are in.

Doing the Cirencester one in August, for my Mudder Legion head band.....!

Seriously, have a crack at it, just train a bit.......! Be aware running becomes addictive if you're not careful and it does hurt a bit...!
