Look forward to seeing the photos of you completing Tough Guy

Here you go then - coming out of the head-freeze tunnel !

It's just commercialised bollocks

Tough Guy is the original, and the only one that counts

End of the day, I've achieved something that I wouldn't normally do and have raised over £800 for prospect.

That's all that matters.

Just signed up for TM no2 in Winchester....in Oct..

Should be a piece of piss, you should try doing the proper one in January when it's much much colder. If you don't get hypothermia then you're doing it wrong.

Quote from: Wikipedia
In 2000, one competitor, Michael Green, from Leicestershire, collapsed midway through the race and later died in hospital, reportedly of a massive heart attack brought on by extreme hypothermia. Green was 44 years old. According to Wilson, this was the first fatality in 15 years.

Other injuries suffered in the event are common. Local newspaper reports suggested that among the competitors in the 2009 event, one suffered a broken neck, another broken pelvis, yet another broken pubic bone while there were a dozen broken or dislocated bones and 600 runners - including the winner - suffered hypothermia.

Good man and good luck. I've just signed up for the Cirencester one and hope to do Winchester too, all being well.

Hope today goes well, bit of rain never hurt anyone.

The new obstacles are tough. More team based. Cry baby was good, birth canal was hard. Very hard. Everest is now curved at the top.

Very hilly and wet today and got a sub 3 hours, which am chuffed to bits with.

Under 3 hours that's quick. You forget the pledge or something? Or you help a couple of people and go at each obstacle?

Looking forward to Cirencester already, had my first run since the last tough Mudder yesterday, 110 days to go, about that anyway.
