Definition of irony.
Have you still not noticed yet that nobody is interested in arguing with you about PDC? You became boring a long, long time ago mate. Let it go.... and back on topic, nobody wants to hear it.

It's been said before but he wasn't out of work for long so there surely couldn't be much of a loss of earnings claim, and I'm not sure if you can claim for general damages in wrongful dismissal unless you have suffered psychological injury?
Edit: looked it up and seems you can claim general damages for damage to reputation - could be relevant?
He can, but I'm not sure that's how he'd form a claim in this instance. If it is for unpaid wages, I suspect (wild speculation) that the new lot didn't pay him for the time that he was still manager post takeover. Don't be surprised to see this settle today or tomorrow. It's often the way.

Disappointed.....he doesn't need the money so why do it?
Like a teenager throwing a hissy fit when they realise that they can't get everything their own way.

Surely there's a case for us, if he wins or his argument has any weight at all, to turn to Sunderland and demand compensation?
Now that would indeed be apt. Paolo is being an utter cock as normal.

A good lawyer could argue that his reputation has only been advanced by his time at Swindon - he came in with a reputation for being erratic, he behaved erratically and he was indulged by his employer, and the terms under which he left were no more or less predictable than anything else he did there. He couldn't get a Prem job without the STFC experience (that's what Sullivan at West Ham told him), so he's more marketable than he was. So relatively easy to defend. How do you know what the breaking point is of a man who looks like he could break at any moment. Also, he got a better paid job immediately, so no harm has been done to him. Interesting, for someone who claims to be all about 'the fans', taking a club to a tribunal is in the end taking money of those fans he claimed to love so much, especially as it's a new board. So, thanks for that Paolo. Narcissistic egomaniac to the last.

Lots of conclusions being jumped to in this thread, I do hope the Advertiser will be reporting on these proceedings.

What, you mean wait for the facts before deciding somebody is guilty?
