I had a walk around the pitch yesterday, it's fine. There are patches of discolouration around the Stratton Bank goalmouth, but that's purely superficial. The surface itself isn't damaged, there aren't any noticeable dents or troughs or bits of pitch coming off. Really not too bad at all, the protective matting did its job.
That's good news. Plus there is a week before we need to play on it, so it'll hopefully be good as new anyway.
