I always thought he was a very decent player.

He suffered because no one else in that team wanted the ball. He'd offer himself, get the ball, and have to play it backwards or square because no one would offer themselves. The fans would then get on his back, but other, better managers could see his potential.

The exact sort of player we could do with at the moment. Stronger, harder and more skillful than Hewlett.

I had high hopes for Watson as a sort of poor man's John Moncur.....didn't quite happen though did it, being a midfield player under McMahon can't have been easy.

 Certainly played a key role in Rotherham's rise up the leagues, but I suppose League 1 is about his level.

I remember him scoring agianst Grimsby (when it was called off after 30 minutes) Grimsby had ten men aswell.
