Yes, part of Live Nation. One of the companies I do loads of work for (including todays shenanigans). The only bright spot is I may be able to blag some free tickets. For me. Always a silver lining.

I'd be 90% certain its nothing to do with Live Nation but Ill ask the boss man when he turns up tonight.
I have asked him before when the concert idea was first announced and he seemed to know nothing about it and think given the capacity it wouldn't be a goer.

Outsourcing looks to me like it means ticketmaster will get their cut from fees and the club won't have to employ staff.

We outsourced tickets back in the 90s and one undesired consequence was that it was easy for away fans to get in the home ends - in particular i'm thinking of Millwall and Bolton in the League Cup

Maybe tickets can be sold to pre registered supporters or those living near Swindon. I think it's something that should be easily policed |

You'd need a fan login in order to order tickets hence the reward system. I guess the question is how easy would it be for away fans to sign up? Shouldnt be a huge issue though given not many clubs at this level bring enough.

A £25 seat cost £27 when booked online last season. If booked in time that included postage. I'd be surprised if Ticketmaster match that. |

A ticket for Vålerenga - Rosenborg at the national stadium costs 300 NOK + 27 NOK fee, that's a £3 fee on a £34 ticket. If it scales down according to the ticket price then it's hardly different to the previous system and will be vastly improved for bigger games |
