Final is at Edgbaston right?

England v India at Edgbaston would be fun, not sure who would consider that a home match!

That's right Nemo, I too also think it will be England v India in the final!

As a valued supplier to a major tool wholesale distribution company, I have been invited to a 20/20 match at the Ageas bowl formerly the Rose Bowl at hedge end on 26th for a touch of corporate hospitality. Now the rub is this. I adore cricket but have never been to a first class or test match in my life. I am so excited. The fact that my trade show stand was chosen as a winner along with another supplier (hence the invite) amongst many who attended the show is a real feather in my and my companies hat. I have had to book a hotel nearby as I have been told you'll not be in a fit state to drive back home! My luck it'll piss with rain and I won't be able to go to the re arranged date!

Managed to get an Ashes ticket last week for the lords test, only problem is that it's for the Monday so chances are I may not get to see a lot of cricket, but for only £30 well worth a punt. Love the Ashes - nothing quite like it IMO, can't wait!

Hope you enjoy it Fats......give my love to the lovely little village of Hedge End...where generations of my dads family lived and when i eventually traced my dad...he was living in Hedge End.

Been built up abit around the small town now.

Have a great day.

They don't rearrange these matches, just share the points.
If it pisses down you'll just have to eat and drink inside in the hospitality all evening.

Anyone else going to the Old Trafford Ashes test match? If so have you received your tickets yet? I have my Trent Bridge and Oval tickets, but no sign of the OT ones.

Tough old game today....winnable, but in Amla, Steyn and de Villiers Saffas have 3 who are a class above anything we've got. If these 3 can be dealt with we should be OK.

Agree about De Villiers and Amla but Jimmy is a wonderful bowler. Equal to Steyn.
