Lost our first 2 games last season, 2-1 away at Wrexham and then midweek lost 3-2 at home to Luton.

Mid table mediocrity again?

I'm not sure, I think it was 2-1, or 3-1 before we got the second against Luton.

I was pleased for Parkin as well, that may shut some of the Ipswich fans up, he'll do a good job for them.

Seemingly it was a beautiful goal as well, a curler from 18 yards. On a positive note at least Roberts and Thorpe are off the mark for the season and only a post denied us a point.

Forest got pumped in Poland tonight but I fully expect them to pump us on saturday  Crying

Fallon may be the key, his height and physical presence should hold the ball in the opposing half more and allow the midfield to get into the game.

If not I doubt if we can get anywhere just playing in 15 min bursts.

2 games 2 penalties given away too.

Mind you at least we didn't go 30 odd games before being awarded one this season.

i can't beleive our fans have been arguing these two penalties either  :?

barnsley- sean pulled the guys shirt 276 times, lucky to only get yellow
oldham- if jerel wants to jump on the poor blokes back then he's well entitled to crumple!

Difference here is that last season we knew there may be a bit of a hangover from the PO's and that we had a reasonable side ......this season I've yet to see anything other than a relegation battle.
