BUMP

I'm looking to upgrade soon and wondered how people are getting on with the phones mentioned in this thread?

I was going to get a iphone 4S (as have an old crappy phone) as there were some good deals on a while ago but never go to round it. Is it now better to get the new iphone 5 which Orange are offering me as an upgrade as it is G4 compatible......whatever that means....?!

I am a technophobe so can anyone enlighten me on whether I should consider the Galaxy or HTC One or are there newer models?

Cheers.

Galaxy is slightly more user friendly. Far quicker than any HTC phone I've owned/used and seems to get updates regularly.

Build quality isn't as good, that said I like the look of it.

HTC One is a great piece of kit but the iphone 5 still wins it for me.

Upgraded from iPhone 4s to Galaxy S4 couple of weeks ago as cheaper than iphone 5. Its not bad but if I'm honest I wished I'd got the iPhone as its far simpler to use imo

Recently had a 4s to mess around with iOS7, compared to my S3 they really are rather shit,  why people rave about iphones is beyond me. Never mind I did make a profit on it

iphone everytime.. Last year I decided I wanted a change, so opted for an HTC...... Inside 24hrs I was back at the shop begging to be given back my iphone !  I still had to upgrade, from the 4 to 4s !!
Never again, I promised 'iphone' we wouldn't be parted again  Smiley  Sad I know, but really hated the HTC !!

I got the iphone 5 3 weeks ago.  Its good.  But its not good when you drop it down the toilet when pissed.

Back to my iphone 4 now.

I still have the Iphone 3, and its going strong! Although I only really use it for texts and calls and internet and weather etc, so I am not exactly stretching the boundaries of its use!!

Think I am going to get the Iphone 5 when I move back to the UK.

The new iPhones are likely to be announced on the 10th Sep,
so worth waiting a bit if you're thinking of getting one.
