I had a funny handshake once. I had recently started my first job in London and was introduced to an old boy called Cliff who had been there for years. He went to shake my hand and I damn near lost one of my knuckles.
Evil fucker. I had no idea what was going on until I mentioned it to a few others in the pub later that week.
They reckon each degree of Masonry has its own handshake ( token ) I've shaken hands with a few people I suspect could be members but am still not any wiser. They also use key words/ questions if they suspect others of being members like: "How old is your mother" and Are you a travelling man " so if someone you shake hands with digs their thumb in and asks if your travelling to see your 'how old" mother they could be a Freemason.

I would love for the townend to join in unison and make our voices heard. We have a good hardcore of 40 here, and hundreds of hangers on, we could do something special

Too right Notts Red
You have to be vigiliant to these people. Be on guard at all times, and don't be seduced by these people for furtherance of your careers. There is an ultimate price to pay.
