The way I see it you should be taking at least 1/3 of your home support away in the playoffs. We sold more than that figure for Charlton and did it for Coventry in the league this season too.

But Cheltenham Town and Burton Albion are not Swindon Town.

In the same way as Swindon Town cannot compete with teams in the band above us.

Let them be.

Which is why I think 1/3 of your home support is achievable for any club. It's a percentage.

Yeovil have sold about 1000 for tonight are their fans are expecting almost 1500. That is amazing for a Friday night, Yeovil to Sheffield is a horrendous journey on a Saturday let alone a Friday night.

That's a good attendance for that kind of distance from a smaller club! Good support! :-)

I'll keep my fingers crossed for Yeovil tonight.

The only reason for my defending of Burton and Cheltenham is down to the fact that, as a fan of a different club, it doesn't really matter to me.

As far as I'm concerned, whipping out and judging clubs on average attendances is the desperate last stand for many.

Brentford tweeted, they have closed advanced ticket sales, 400 will be on sale at the county ground,
Looks  like about 1800 of them

Later tweet was they were bringing 350 tickets to sell on the day yet apparently only 1592 Brentford fans according to official source

yebbut- what if 1/3 of the home support is far bigger than the away end?
