Given the substantial level of coverage Bury's demise got, I think it would probably have generated more coverage if anything. Although by that time they'd already made their investment in Salford some years previously.
That’s what I meant, at a time when their true financial issues weren’t known there would have been no glory in it for Neville. With his mum working there he must have had a better idea than most of the sorry state they were really in years ago but clearly he was more interested in the potential to make documentaries on a ‘fairytale’.

Ah, fair enough. Although were they actually that much in the shit then? It was only really when Day and then Dale came in that things seemed to go badly wrong for them.

Ah but that wouldn't have got the same level of coverage and fed their egos as much as the 'fairytale'.

im not really sure it is being publicly stated as a fairytale anywhere. whilst it can be frustrating as fans of other teams I don't really have an issue. they will never sustain themselves as anything more than a league 1 team as we have seen with crawley and fleetwood. there is a ceiling with many clubs with small fan bases.

both nevilles are heavily involved and hands on in so many charities and do so much good work. people may not like them- mainly down to their utd days. but they are down to earth football people who started with nothing and if they want to buy a club with their mates let them crack on. it would be most peoples dream

No one even needs to be a fan of sport to understand how class that is. Reminds us as well that there are good people amongst this species.

What a great day for Molly and her bro.

Foster has a bit of history for being a good bloke...
