I thought first half we looked composed and not too bad compared to so many pervious England games but the 2nd half was poor, we will get out of the group and maybe even to the quarters IMO but we don't have enough, as normal with England, to get any further.

Unlike Hoddle I was not overly impressed with Lingaard, I thought Kane looked knackered and got lucky with his goal but did not threaten at all otherwise. Sterling runs around but doesn't know what to do when he is in a dangerous position, reminds me a lot of Anderson for us.

Defensively I thought we looked ok for 80% of the game and Pickford is way better than Hart in goal.

Trippier didn't add much to the game, I liked Young at wingback though. I thought Dier broke up play fairly well but offered little going forwards.

For me the poorest player on the pitch was Alli who looked like a 3rd division footballer at times, caught in position, his passing was rubbish and never got into any threatening positions around their box.

Oh and I am probably the only one but I thought Nigerias kit was shocking, like up chuck splatter.

I like that without fail, for pre WC warm up games a couple of random teams from the same region as the group opponents are always chosen. Never mind that the playing style might be completely different.

Also don't understand the current obsession with the midfield holding position.
I'm terms of England, the qualification is lack of pace and the ability to pass sideways & backwards.

Quite liked the Nigeria shirt.
We should get something similar as an away kit.....

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

I see one of those big hearted Bookies is offering the chance to win £100m at the World Cup.

All you have to do is predict the result of every single World Cup game - W, L or D.

What could be simpler
