Nah, Wayne Hatswell for me, got a full season run on Match of the Day didn't it?  Looked like he really meant it.  This may just be me remembering it because I played against/with him at school.  As it happens, my first ever goal in any sort of competitive game (as in not just in the playground) was an own goal in game between Freshbrook Junior School and Oliver Tomkins, if memory serves me correct we won 5-1.  I later despatched a cracking volley into my own net for New College 3rd team vs, Swindon Town Ladies, we won something like 9-1.

That's good news
Just need review's of all goals and penalty decisions to bring the national sport into the 21st century. (Both of which should not affect the flow of a game as they are natural stoppages anyway).

Big screens to show "The ref done good" if a correct decision or "The ref is a cunt" if incorrect.

Podium dancers to keep the crowd entertained during reviews and pitchside jacuzzi's offered up as part of match day experience packages.

Hooray. The best decision ever made.

Man U could struggle to field a team after a few weeks.

I'm willing to put more than a few quid on a few examples being made of mid level foreign players at lower half teams at best.

If they discover the balls to ban Rashford say, then I'll be stunned.

This. It's all very well saying they'll do it but will they?
Apparently we were suppose to be cracking down on haranguing of referees this season and how often did that happen?

I remember when they said they would punish goalkeepers for holding the ball too long.

First game of the season (I think) home to Sheff Utd we got a free kick on the edge of the 6 yard box because of it & Jimmy Quinn scored.

However, within a few weeks the refs forgot about it.

Same thing is likely to happen here

TBF there did seem to be a fair few fines dished out to clubs for failure to control their players, including us if LW was to be believed.

Hyperactive Italian managers should also be punished for waving imaginary cards on the touchline.

As should managers who stand around with hands in pockets with only top button of overcoat done up.

The Play-Offs.

We've experienced the highs and lows and it's still great.

That should be punishable with an instantaneous pitch-side flogging, on the spot. Clubs to be required to have cat 'o' nine tails in the medical room for such an eventuality

I know its all over the net and some people are probably fed up with it but you have to give Jermaine Defoe a massive amount of respect for his actions during this whole saga. He has gone up in my estimations, shame more of these "football heroes" don't behave like he has.
