Not quite sure what your point is, but pretty sure Kasim does a lot of charity work in Iraq, particularly with children orphaned by conflict, so if it was a poorly veiled suggestion he's not a decent bloke, it's probably some way wide of the mark.

Yeah but I've never seen him go to Portsmouth to coach some kids.

What a cunt.

Indeed. Tranmere, York, Torquay, Wrexham, Chester, D&R... Lots of teams end up there and find it hard to get back out.

Lincoln are another.

We had a little debate recently about is this the worst STFC squad ever? It's certainly a contender for that unwanted appellation, as well as the question are Luke and his side kick the worst STFC management combo ever?

I don't know why I singled out Kasim to be honest. What I really meant was I couldn't imagine our current squad going out of their way to do stuff like this. And you're right, I'm probably talking complete bollocks.

Burnely's 'mascots' for their game against Lincoln today are septu- and octo- generians. It's rather lovely.

There is a club in Sweden (? it might be somewhere else, i think I have linked it on this thread before) who have been doing this for a bit.

Usually folk pay to be mascots..... I'm not sure I'd lead our sack of shit onto the pitch if the club paid me.

Don't often agree with Keane, but that's quality. Smiley
