I don't know about you but when online I search the same websites in a loop, BBC, sky, TEF etc. what I need is a list of recommended websites I can visit.

I've recently stumbled across:

Can any other TEF'ers recommend any thing I can browse.

Is a great website to dip in and out of from the master of political paranoia Adam Curtis, albeit pretty much the total opposite of the one you posted.

Are the kind of things he does fantastically: you go in thinking you are going to read about a story you know well and come out with a completely different perspective on it questioning everything you'd previously been told.

I learn more about people after there deaths...i look at this site everyday...you find people on here you have never heard of.

My other favourite is Pathe when i am at a bit of a loss.
