That's the spirit Reg. Knew we could count on you.

I had rather hoped some nerdy type like DV..might have checked to see if this was only our 3rd ever season to record 10 away wins...spose I'll have to do it now...I hope we can count on you to continue to lead the band of  Clap and Board apologists, on here, having alternative viewpoints is important to debate...some of your number like SY, have flaked off, at the first hint of Nigerian connections.

Good...I've found another couple of  seasons, so far we've 85/86, 86/87, 95/96, 06/07,11/12 and now this season. Anybody spot the pattern?

If any Nigerians were involved I would be 100% behind them. Everyone knows they're remarkably generous with their money and make excellent films.

Wasn't there a poster on here a bit back that said Thompson shouldn't be allowed near the team sheet??  Carry on playing like this and he will be a very live contender for player of the year!!

Offending comment and commenter:

Honestly I dont think Nathan Thompson should be anywhere near the first eleven.

I only remember as it was in response to one of my first posts suggesting N. Thompson should be given a go at right-back during the finding-a-replacement-for Caddis debacle.

I haven't just been waiting in the wings for a chance to bring it back up Shifty, honest.

Indeed Shocked

Out of interest, did we get 11+ away wins in any (or all) of those seasons?  It'd be interesting to know if 10 was an arbitrary cut-off or whether I should re-mortgage my house and get down the bookies.

Darren Ward has been brilliant for us this season, his recovery pace is unbelievable for a 34 year old.

Reads everything too.

*SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT*

I was on match report duty for thewashbag.com for the Yeovil game. Give it a read and continue basking in the glory of returning to 3rd in League 1.

Think it was 13...one more than the 12 home wins. There haven't been too many seasons where away wins out number home wins...this might be another.

I'm always winning their lottery, keep giving them my bank details but nothing goes in, and I blame the wife when everything goes out!!
