MacDonald is quite fortunate in the fact his first game will be away where our support is usually a lot more, erm, supportive.

Yep and we should take a good following too.

I want to know where these ace user names have sprung up from, gypsies and hillybillies in tandem, outstanding.

I dunno, I think Sutton Red takes some beating for general off-the-wall craziness

Thanks Nigel

What kind of football does he like his teams to play?

His reserve teams at the Villa were mainly young guns with a couple of more experienced player and played some decent stuff.
The U19's had some talent, and were a joy to watch.
I can see him coming back to us for a couple of our fringe players who he worked with. If he does I'll give you the heads up on them

Cheers Nige, any likely candidates?  Will probably be looking at midfield, or attacking type players.

I met MacDonald after the game today and had a brief chat.
Comes across as a decent guy. To be fair I was sat behind him during the game and he is no "arms crosser" and was vocal whilst encouraging.
He is certainly going to be a massive contrast to PDC.

The players already appear to warm to him and are more relaxed.
