Write this game off. We were shocking. No positives to take take from it at all IMO. We were shite. Well beaten by a mediocre, ten man Barnsley. A good side would have got 6.

Our season starts Tuesday (I hope)

If anyone disagrees they must have been watching a different game. We are crying out for that midfield ball winning hard man I tell you.

Who was our best player?

Shaun O'hanlon. Why, who did Ed Hadwin think was?

I dunno, I can't get Radio Swindon or Wiltshire sound so that was why I asked! :?

Edinburgh, use listen live on BBC Swindon/Wiltshire, that's what I do.

Got to admit I've only just got broadband so can now listen to it easily. Never heard of contract rights causing a problem before, I thought they covered all Swindon games. What contract rights were causing the problems?

No idea mate. Just when I tried to listen to commentary some recorded message woman told me they couldn't broadcast the game or summat. Maybe I was doing something wrong!

Will try again tomorrow night.  Wink

Yeh, better luck tomorrow. I'd thought about getting STFC World, but as it's free on the Beeb and works ok (at present) I'm sticking with that.

It's to do with STFC World having the broadcasting rights for league games.

Sometimes they forget to flick the switch to cut the commentary until a little way into the game.

RS can broadcast any LDV/FA etc.. games that we haven't been knocked out of though

Ok, now I'm confused! I thought BBC local radio could broadcast all games, BBC 3 Counties does all Luton games, is it only over the internet that we might get problems listening to the match by Listen Live to BBC Swindon then as I thought Radio covered it.

Or have I got this all wrong?

Just seen your post Whits, bugger.

Sorry Bedford, I didn't explain that too well -  yes it only affects listening over the net.

If you can pick up RS on normal radio you're fine (which we can't)

Thanks Sussex, that's a bugger. Was hoping to catch some of the games on the internet, far to far from Swindon to get it on normal radio.
