"buy the club out of administration. None of the board wanted that of course. To be honest I didn't really know much about the administration process at first"

Jesus, this is chronic. Could he not just have made another of his fabled blog posts?

"Anyway as it happened there was interest to buy the club without the need for admin. Given that I sold the club free of all callable debt. For £1 you'd hope that that would get some interest going."

Would it be fair to say that Black's gut instinct - which has clearly served him well in business - was right when it came to PDC? There's something a bit soul destroying about the thought of Di Canio making unfair demands on a our small but perfectly formed football club.

No.  There's to much here I don't like especially involving spencer.  I will not have this club being held to ransom.  Pdc and spencer have questions to answer.

@bertthebold: They didn't want to sell him of course - I don't think any of us did, but there were cash issues and I had decided for better or worse
