I don't know why people are shocked the backroom staff have left - they were hardly going to stay with whomever does take over the hot seat.

Can only be grateful no players can be sold until the end of the season.

The old board can fuck off, the new board can fuck off, PdC and the other eyties can fuck off - I'm off to Coventry and bollocks to the lot of 'em

Nothing like taking the shine off a fab result.

Who's in a position to appoint a new manager?  Black et al or Jed?  We might not be able to appoint anyone until the takeover is sorted.  It's going to be fucking Buckle or Newell isn't it?

I actually think Paolo's a cunt for walking away now. He can't have thought as much of us as some would like to think he did.

I can't see how we'd be able to employ anybody if we're not allowed loan players.

This is a little bit of what I think but as a friend said - if you could have seen him clearing the pitch of snow you would realise the drive and the passion of the man and he must have been serioulsy fucked over.

We don't know what has gone on - but we are top of the league.

This could be symbolic.  If Jed's grand plan does centre on Newell (or similar), tonight is going to be the high point.  Downhill from here, and Jed McLuton on a hiding to nothing from day one.

So then, we're doomed?

That's what I said and then promptly got told to fuck off.

I do believe this is the peak though.

Yes, yes it could. Got to remember the players bought in to the Paolo dream too. Suppose they will have to see out the season though. I really don't think its always easy to just 'get on with things', some will some won't.

Bodin and Pitman can tide us over until a full time appoitment is made. My memory might be playing tricks but Bodin wasn't a disaster last time he was caretake, was he?

There are other physios etc attached to the club at youth level.

That's about it Flashers. Even for Swindon, we're doing the emotional rollercoaster a bit full on at the mo. It's like condensing another club's five years into five STFC weeks.

I just can't be arsed to think like you do DV...we've had a fantastic result tonight against the odds, that doesn't have to be as good as it gets. You're forgetting how fantastic this squad of players is and how good the team spirit is.
