I am on a ship with two Scoucers who live in Birkenhead but both support Liverpool. On that basis Tranmere have already lost 0-2.

Good luck for tonight. A repeat of the 5-0 result would be 'Fab'. Can't see it though unfortunately.

Off to work so will miss the game - No Piccaretta whispering for me tonight I'm afraid.

Does anyone know how long ago was it that we were top of the 1st division? did we hit top spot in the Wilson play off season ? Sorry, I have had a quick look but can't find it.

Pretty certain we never went top once that season.

And were always playing catch up after getting beaten 5-0 in the first g ame of the season.
