He makes a lot of his coaching and scouting skills, maybe he was the real brains behind the operation and Paolo was the figure head doing crazy shit to divert attention. |

This is very true, some people are great assistants but never make it upto the top mans job.
I don't remember many at all that have made the transition, several go the other way successfully but not starting as assistants.
