I'm still hoping PDC will come back, but Jamie Carragher as player manager perhaps.

Ha ha, that'd be ace. Almost as good as 'Pope Idol' which is how they should pick the next Pope.

It'd be easier to post who we don't want...

-Paul Hart
-Mike Newell or his mate Stein?
-Chris Wilder
-Graham Rix

....the list goes on!

It will be a cheap appointment whoever comes in, possibly until end of season see where we get to and if they do well they get a 2 year deal!

Newell has to be the front runner....still relatively young, did OK at Looton until it went pear shaped in the labrynthine politics of the club at that time.

Based on nothing but a gut feeling, it'll be someone shit, uninspiring, or cheap - and most likely all three.

Agreed, but I can't imagine that having turned down Blackpool he will see Swindo, or following PDC as a great move.

He'd have to apply and be interviewed though

Of course Adkins won't come here, don't be fucking silly.

I do hope that Jed et al have a contingency plan in place. It did seem they had a week or so to do so after all.
