Loved him, really brought the sppark back and helped galvanise the club at a time when we needed a boost. I'll always have great memories of his time here.
But... being a fan of Swindon isn't about a manager, or a player, or a chairman, or even an owner. So thanks Paolo, now let's move on. Exciting/worrying times ahead...

Well, that was a fun few months. At least supporting Swindon is an interesting affair, even our mediocre periods are worth keeping an eye out for.
He's left the first team in a pretty good state for anyne coming in, it makes it more appealing than it has been for a long time - a fair chance of a promotion or near miss on your CV with little effort required. New owners will help as well, regardless of who they are. Just check out the trainf of people going for the Notts F job in recent months - managers hardly ever give a shit whether the owners are good intentioned, a little dodgy or anything really. So long as it's a pay day and the CV can take some improving (either for someone on the up, or coming down).
